Preparation

  1. Prepare the Pickled Onions

    • In a small bowl, combine the thinly sliced red onion, red wine vinegar, and sugar.
    • Stir well until the sugar is dissolved.
    • Let the onions marinate in the mixture for at least 30 minutes, or refrigerate overnight for best results.
  2. Cook Ribeye

    • Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
    • Season the ribeye steak generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper on both sides.
    • Cook the ribeye for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time according to your preference.
    • Once cooked, transfer the ribeye to a cutting board and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
  3. Prepare Guinness-Infused Knorr® Professional Chicken Gravy

    • In a saucepan, prepare the Knorr® Professional Chicken Gravy according to the instructions.
    • When the gravy is almost ready, add the Guinness Stout to the saucepan and stir well to combine.
    • Allow the gravy to simmer for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the flavors to meld. Set aside.
  4. Assemble Flatbread

    • Preheat your oven to the temperature recommended for your flatbread or pizza crust.
    • Place the flatbread or pizza crust on a baking sheet.
    • Arrange the thinly sliced ribeye evenly over the flatbread.
    • Scatter the pickled onions over the ribeye.
    • Arrange the thinly sliced Brie cheese on top of the ribeye and onions.
    • Drizzle a little olive oil over the flatbread.
    • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake according to the instructions for the flatbread or pizza crust, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
