Preparation

  1. Make the Creamy Za'atar Sauce

Pour the Hellmann's Vegan Mayo and the Hellmann's Lemon Za'atar Vinaigrette into a squeeze bottle, mix well and let it sit for 30-45 minutes in the refrigerator prior to use.
  2. Prepare the Tacos

    • Using a Food Processor, add the Knorr Professional Caldo de Vegetales, garlic, herbs, onion, jalapeno, salt, and cumin. Pulse mix until it has incorporated and there are no large pieces.
    • Now add the baking soda and the oat flour and mix one more time until everything is well incorporated.
    • Refrigerate mix for 30-40 minutes prior to working with it.
    • Scoop falafel mix onto a flour tortilla using a 2” Ice cream scoop & flatten the mix using the hands.
    • Sear the falafel side on the flat top at a low/medium fire with the EVOO, until evenly brown/crispy.
    • Now turn the tortilla to its other side and sear for 15-20 seconds.
    • Serve with greens, herbs, tomatoes, pickles (any desired veggies) & the creamy Za’atar Sauce.
