Preparation

  1. Preparing the noodles

    10 minutes
    • Heat the oil over medium heat in a frying pan or a wok.
    • Fry the noodles in batches for about 5 seconds or until the noodles are puffed and crispy, turning them over once. Do not brown.
    • Drain of excess oil and season with salt to taste.
  2. Preparing the chicken teriyaki

    30 minutes
    • Heat oil in a skillet. Add chicken and cook for about 4 minutes per side.
    • While the chicken is cooking, prepare the teriyaki sauce by combining cornstarch and water in a small bowl until the cornstarch dissolves. Next, whisk in Knorr® Professional Liquid Concentrated Base Beef, brown sugar, soy sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic powder.
    • Add the sauce to the pan and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook until the chicken is fully cooked, and the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.
    • Prepare broccoli by breaking the crown up into bite-sized florets. Place 1 inch of water in a saucepan with a steamer and bring to a boil. Add the broccoli to the steamer and cover; reduce heat to medium and let cook for 5-6 minutes.
    • Serve by adding noodles to the guest’s plate and topping with teriyaki chicken mixture and broccoli. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
TIP: Give your menu variety by subbing out the noodles for white rice.
